Sorting a List of objects by an object's field

Let's say I have the following class:
 
public class Book { public int BookID { get; set; } public string Name { get: set: } }  
Now let's say I have a list of these objects.
 
List<Book> bookList;  
How can I sort this book list by the Book object's BookID property?
