Creating a wrapper or another facade on top of Enterprise Library

Just curious what your thoughts are on implementing a wrapper or another facade on Enterprise Library application blocks. I'm looking for accepted practices or guidelines on when would it be beneficial to wrap an EL application block as opposed to using it directly.
