Validating FileSize of Asp.Net File Upload Control using JS script or Server side

Hi,

     I believe, this is well know issue for the Asp.Net developers. We have Asp.Net File Upload control in web application, we have to validate the uploading file's max size should be 25 MB and prompt to the user. We have restricted the size in web.config with MaxRequestLEngth = 25 MB, if we try to upload size more than 25 MB it throws server exception.

How to vallidate the uplaoded file size either in code behind or client side? We need to give customzied meaningful message to user.

Please share your idea.
