Drop Down List Item Sorting

I have a drop down list that has items added to it in two different ways. Some items are added from a database table and the others are added through "DropDownList1.Items.Add(new ListItem("SomeItem");
The items that are added through my C# code get added after the table objects, I would like to have control over sorting of all the items.
