I have implemented some authetication mechanism in my web application. like in Global.asax i have checked for authentication. if user is authenticate then i am putting userid in Session. And further on every page i am checking the value of session in page_load. If session is null then message is coming that u r not authorized.
Now if user is authorized then page is opening successfully. Now page remain opens for some large tiem say 15-20 minutes then after doing anything like selecting any drop down from page or doing something from page , a dialog is coming asking me for username/password. even if i am putting my username and password page not found is coming.
I am accessing application from some server.
So can anybody help me what might be the issue. Is session getting expired. But if session is getting expired then i have given a authorization errorpage. It must redirect to that page. It is also not redirecting to that page.
