Show loading image or loading message like ajax in simple asp.net page

 Hi,
   I am using 3 frames in my application.In top frame there is name of company and in left frame there is treeview menu comming from database when i click on treeview menu the corresponding page related to that menu opens in right frame.this process working very fine.

Now what i want to do is when user click on treeview menu there should any images or any text of loading appear until the whole page loads how to do this without ajax. because my treeview is not inside ajax.
or when i click on treeview node then any div come  like processing page and when the design of page loads then the div disappear.something like this
because my page are heavy in design and are taking time to load.and i donot want to put treeview inside a ajax panel.
