I am running SQL Server 2008 Express and need to perform complete deletions. I have data that on a weekly basis that needs to deleted from the database and leave no trace. My vision is a cleansing routine that works on the database like utilities available for files that go through x number of passes to totally clean the hard disk.
My thought is:
turn off tracingdelete the recordsshrink the database and perhaps run a "cleansing" routine on the affected tables.turn tracing back on Let me know if I am on the right track or if someone has a better approach.
Thanks, David
