I have been trying to get the new ASP.NET v2.0 Control State mechanism working with one of my controls. I called Page.RegisterRequiresControlState(this) in my OnInit and overrode the LoadControlState and SaveControlState methods.When stepping through the code to find out why it was not working I noticed that LoadControlState was never called but SaveControlState was called on load and post back.Figuring I must have got something wrong I copied one of MS examples from http://msdn2.microsoft.com/library/1whwt1k7(en-us,vs.80).aspx exactly. This also fails to fire the LoadControlState event!Have I missed something, am I going mad?
