I have been trying to install the SQL Server 2008 Management Studio on my computer, and it has been racked with problems. I am using the
SQLManagementStudio_x86_ENU, which I downloaded and is supposed to be a freeware version of the software, which I need for my courses. Unfortunately, it does not seem to play well with Windows 7 Home Premium, my OS, and keeps giving
me this when I try to run it.
THIS PROGRAM HAS KNOWN COMPATIBILITY ISSUES, which is followed by options to, Check for solutions online / Run program / Cancel,
all in a window that pops up when I try to use the exe installer. My cousins friend is familiar with SQL Server from her job, and told me that it was not truly compatible with Windows 7.
