Hi experts,
I am facing one problems related to session .
correct me if am wrong.
by default session timeout is 20 min
if i want to extend manually i have to write in web.config file
<system.web>
<sessionState timeout="45"></sessionState>
</system.web>
The code works perfactly when timeout is set manully or automatically when it is not published.
as i published the website. the code not work according to the sessionstate of web.config
I want to know how can i set the session timeout when published the website
I also made changes to virtual directory session timeout but i dont know which session will override.
virtual directory session timeout override the web.config sessionstate or web.config file of published folder override the session timeout of virtual directory
