Hi everyone.
I just recently started at new company they sell stationary they are running a server with MSSQL server 2008, they take info and capture it with pastel (info like the stock we have and the costs) then send it to MSSQL server, I want to access this data so
I can make a better system for our sales reps as things are currently someone is reading the data into pastel and someone else is making a excel sheet, they are basically doing the work twice.
I have no experience with MS SQL server but I can code SQL and a few other languages I would have preferred this all be in access but this is only because of my limited knowledge.
How can I access the server on a client PC and pull the data into Delphi to make Forms I have MSSQL handlers but I cannot link it to the DB.
Please help!!!!
