I have a web user control with a form view that is bound to a data source which displays some details and a sum of hours worked. The main web page is a second formview in which additional hours can be added.
I'm trying to have the FormView in the web user control refreshed after any hours are entered (inserted) into the formview in the main form.
So if in the header web user control there are 5.0 hours and someone enteres .50 hours in the main form then after the new .50 hours is added then the web user control in the header is refreshed (rebinded?) and the new sum would read 5.50 hours.
I can find posts about having events triggered in the web user control cause methods to fire in the main web page but I'm looking for the opposite.
