 Hello all,
This is the situatiion I am faced with:
I have a page (updateUserDetails.aspx) with a form that I want to post form data to a different webpage (processUserDetails.aspx). The processUserDetails will then responds by return a block of code (probably a div with some contents). This block of code will be some sor tof success/error message depending on what data was posted in the form.
How would I go abouts writing processUserDetails? As far as I know, in an ASP example, everything is done on the asp page - connection to database, calling sql statement, if success then response.write a success message. Using the same strategy, I would put all my logic into the ASPX page.
I would preferably not put all my logic in 1 place. Hence how would I be able to use the processUserDetails.aspx.vb file to call my methods? I have tried putting my method calls in the page_load, but it doesnt appear that that method is being called.
