Hello
Whenever I make changes to the underlying database and would like to refresh my dataset in the Visual Studio designer I am unable to find a way to do this. Searching web for answers some have said that one should right click on the datset .xsd file in the
Solution Explorer and select Run custom tool. However when I do this nothing happens. I am using Visual Studio 2010 Professional and have installed SQL Server Express 2008. Is there something wrong with my configuration/installation when the command Run custom
tool doesn't start anything and must I set up something somewhere to be able to propagate database changes automatically to my DataSet ? My CustomTool is MSDataSetGenerator (default).
My only solution up til now has been to delete the table(s) from the DatSet and then dragging the table(s) once again onto the designer surface. This gets me the refreshed data structure but I loose the TableAdapter commands by doing this. In my opinion
