We're running SQL Express edition on a 64-bit Windows Server 2008 (on the cloud with Rackspace). Every time the server gets rebooted, our database's OrderID (using autonumber feature) goes up by 1000. For example, we started this year with OrderID 5500
but when I rebooted the server after an install of another app, the OderID in that table went up to 6500 when the next order was placed. Now, we're up to OrderID 10500 after only 4 reboots!. How can I set this so we don't continue to jump like this after each
reboot? ...
