I am trying to use kerberos for my asp sites, but have failed to find a good example (many just show security on the web site, and nothing related to sql server.
What I want to do is use active direcory/windows authenticaion for my web site, and then have those groups in sql server implement the database security. Here are the steps I have followed:
Step 1. Enable Windows Authentication
<authentication mode="Windows" />
<identity impersonate="true"/>
<authorization>
<deny users="?"/>
</authorization>
Step 2. Add group to active directory
(Got system admins to do this)
Step 3. Add group to sql server
right click on serurity - > logins -> new login next to login name click searchclick object type, sel ...
