I am having a drop down in page 1 and a <a href> to navigate to page 2 . I basically need to set the drop down in page 1 to selected value when browser back button on page 2 is clicked .I tried using sessions but problem is i want to clear session if they navigate to other pages from page 2 as i have to set the dorpdown to selected value only when browser back button on page 2 is clicked. I tried using Request.UrlReferrer.ToString() to see if the request is from back button of page 2 but UrlRefferrer is not having right value as it is navigating to page 2 with <a href> .
