I am using the following code to authenticate a user from a database once a match is made...
Session["AgentID"] = user.AGENTID;
Session["Logon"] = user.LOGON;
Session["AgentFirstName"] = user.FNAME;
Session["AgentLastName"] = user.LNAME;
Session["Sec"] = user.SEC;
FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage(user.LOGON,true);
... how do i get the information that i am storing in session to be part of the the authentication ticket so I don't have to store the users credentials in session?
I know I can reference the Username using User.Identity.Name, but how can I add the other fields (the ones in session) so I can reference them the same way? I would like the login to be independent of sessions and store all the information in cookies i guess, rather than using a combination of both.
