I am building an ASP.NET website which is about online ordering system, and as part of website I have a order page, where a list of items is listed inside a DataList. The DataList contain a repeater, and within the repeater I have a LinkButton.
What I want is to allow user add each item by clicking on the LinkButton to the shopping cart, however what I am not sure is about the values I should pass into the CommandName and CommandArgument of my LinkButton.
In my database I have one table which include all the items information, including the price of each, and I want the LinkButton to show an image as well as the price for each item. And user can then click on the image or the price in order to add the page to the shopping cart.
My main issue is that I am not sure what values I need to pass into the CommandName or CommandArgument of the LinkButton, and I would apprititate if anyone can let me know about this.
