Hi,

I'm kinda stuck here :/ I've created an eventreceiver for the ItemAdding event on an Image library. All that works just fine, but I have a problem ...

I want to change permissions of the item once the file is added, but since the ItemAdded event is triggered BEFORE the CheckIn, using elevated privileges -- which is needed to have enough permissions to change list item security -- is not working.

So, basically my question is : how do I retrieve a checked-out listitem with another user than the one i checked it out with ?

Using properties.ListItem is also out of the question, since then the item is opened in the old Context again (the uploading user ...), and so there are not enough permissions anymore :/

Or, if maybe there is a way to specify that an eventhandler has to run under a different identity, would be cool also :)

Tnx in advance

Nick
