How to modify a common property via JavaScript and persist it?

Hello everyone!
I am trying to modify a property in a GridViewRow...
I want to turn the display to 'none', but when I do any postback on the page, it doesn't persist... the page render again displaying the row...
But when I try it with the text in a TextBox, it persists!
 
Please, what can I do?
