Hi,

I am using some thirdparty tools for displaying/writting the charts and pdf files to the browser. Writting/displaying the chart and pdf files works fine on Firefox and IE 6/7 with http (non secure) environment.

But the same code that displays/write the chart and pdf to the browser won't work with IE 6/7 with https (secure) environment.

To resolve this issue (as per the suggestion on the thirdparty sites), I have added following piece code

Response.ClearHeaders()
Response.AddHeader("Pragma", "Public")
Response.AppendHeader("Cache-Control", "Public")
Response.AppendHeader("Expires", "-1")

Now it is working fine on both IE 6/7 with http and https. My question here is, 1) what are the drawback if we made  the "Cache-Control" and "Pragma" as public ?

2) Is there any other way to resolve this issue?

Regards
