Need some advice or ideas. i have a grid that users can use to record ordered items from a supplier. Sometimes we have a full lists of products from that supplier and so we would like to let the user choose the product from a drop down list. My problem is some of the suppliers have in excess of 15,000 products available quite a lot to be loading into multiple grid rows i think everytime.
Ideally what i would like is one dropdownlist that can be used for all the grid rows, or a custom control, like a calendar control so that when they click a button rather than loading a calendar it loads a drop down list, does that make sense? hope so?
any ideas?
