Multiline textbox validation

I am trying to add a regular expression validation for a Multiline textbox.  used the expression ^\s*(\w\s*){1,150}\s*$
This restricts the length of the textbox to 150 characters and allows spaces but does not allow special characters. I want to allow special characters as well.

Please Help.
