I'm using .Net membership on my site, all is working well except when I try to return the saved profile data.
This code is used to create the profile when someone registers and after their account is created and they are authenticated.
ProfileCommon userProfile = (ProfileCommon)ProfileCommon.Create(txtUsername.Text, true);
userProfile.FirstName = txtFirstName.Text;
userProfile.Save();
This is working fine as the data is in the database as expected for the profile info.
When I try to retrieve this info for a logged in user which I know is in the database... all the values are null.
This is the code I use to retrieve the data for an authenticated user.
ProfileCommon p = Profile.GetProfile(HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.Name);
Any help would be much appreciated.
