Dictionary

I have a basic linq statement and I want to upload those values into a dictionary<int, string>. The idea is to have a dictionary with the key value pairs. This is the approach I am taking. The data comes from the database table Products.


Here's the LINQ query:
Dictionary<int, string> dictPDP = new Dictionary<int, string>();
var list = (from a in dc.Products select a.id, a.name).ToList();
