I'm developing an online portal for an educational university. The main functionality of the portal will be
Maintaining student exam grades, maintaining student yearly consolidated reports, student attendance, everything about a student who admits into the university under graduation/post graduation courses.The system will also handle student transportation, student biodata with their pics etc..
I previously started this project using PHP/MYSQL..
My aim is to reduce the time of administrator who enters each and every student record.
For this i designed a system which allows administrator to enter records of all the students in an excel sheet and he has to upload it to a folder which all the excel records will be read and presented in a grid view (wtih edit option) and then cross verified with original marksheet then inserted into the database. I succeeded in doing so using PHP.
But i now want to revamp the entire solution in .net, can anyo ...
