I am trying to access some files on a remote server but I am getting an exception saying Access to the path is denied. The path looks like this; \\server2\path\file.
My ASP.NET application runs in an application pool where I have specified the identity to be a special user account called "AdminUser".
On the second server, where the file to be accessed is located, I have created an indentical "AdminUser"-account with the same password as the one on the web server, and given this account read and execute permissions to the file.
However, I am still getting this exception. What have I missed here? I do not use a domain.
