PHP developer just learning ASP...
I've looked around, but I guess I'm not seeing the answer.
Is there a simple way to move an ASP.net website and it's dependencies easily from a root folder into a subfolder on a server?
I can get parts of it to still work by not moving the web.config file into the subfolder. Is it necessary to change paths somewhere to reflect the move? If so, I'm wondering why the application can't allow for dependancies to be built with relative paths instead. The desire is if I would want to deploy a site to a shared server for a client to preview, but have it in a different directory instead of the public root directory.
