Hi All,
i have a web application, now in that application there is a webfolder(named "Uploads"), and i want to secure the contents of that folder(contents could be anything i.e. movie, office document, zipped file, image file, etc), such that no user should be able to view the file if they write its address in the address bar, Now to acheive this i have tried placing a web.config file inside the folder("Uploads") with the tags
<system.web>
<authorization>
<deny users="*" />
</authorization>
</system.web>
other than this i have also tried location tags in main web.config but nothings seems to work. I have also tried implemnting IhttpModule class, please see coding below
