Just recently, my application started to throw a lot of "The operation has timed out" on HttpWebRequest.GetResponse().   I haven't had an issue until my last windows update on Windows 2008 R2.  Could that be the issue?  Should I try to roll back the changes?
Also, what is the fasted/most efficient way to do a POST via HttpWebRequest?
request.Headers("Accept-Encoding") = "gzip"
request.Credentials = CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials
request.ConnectionGroupName = "AppWebRequest"
request.KeepAlive = False
request.AutomaticDecompression = DecompressionMethods.GZip
request.Method = "POST"
request.Timeout = 30000
Should I change anything or add anything to the params above to increase performance?
Thank you for the help.
