Our project is finally coming to a close. We've got all the pages we need, and all functionality working. So what I'm doing now is going back through our .aspx.cs files and just cleaning up code --- getting rid of stuff we tried, but just commented out, changing variable names to be clearer, etc.
One thing I'm trying to do is format the code files themselves in a consistent manner, for future maintenance.
This is the format that I have so far:
using [...]
namespace MyProject
{
public partial class mypage : System.Web.UI.Page
{
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)[...]
protected override void InitializeCulture()[...]
private void InitializePage()[...]
/************************************/
private void PopulateDropDownLists()[...]
private void ClearDropDownListSelections()[...]
private void PopulateListBoxes()[...]
and other methods related ...
