I'm using the Role/Memnership manager using a form based security in a SQL server 2000 backend.
I have defined my applicationName property to my application name, when I use the ASP.NET Configuration tool to add a new user. I start with empty tables appliactions/users/roles by simply adding one user I'll get to entry in application one with my application name and another with "/" which is the default appliaction name, I also end up having two wntries in users table based on each application ID. I wonder if I'm missing or misconfiguring my membership provider. Here is what I do in my web config:
