Creating a Web Application

Hi everyone

I am new to the .NET world. I have a need to create a web application. The requirement is follows:

The web application receives the following parameters

Customers(Array)
Names (Array)
Salesman
Name
Email Address
Product codes (Array)

Based upon the email address I have to push this data to another application that supports HTTP POST . This application will be called by another application which gathers the data from the sources and pass it on my application. How do I get about it? I am using Visual Studio 2008 and was told to develop a Web Application in ASP.NET. Where do I start? If anyone can guide me to a link with some step by step instructions  it  will be greatly appreciated.
