I am having big problems preventing users from entering the direct URL to a .exe file. After much searching it seems that I need to use httpHandlers in the we.config to restrict the type of file extension.
The problem is that I am unable to configure IIS 6.0 to forward those requests to ASP.NET because my site is hosted on a shared server.
Any suggestions, I can find no solution to this on any forum, so any advice would be appreciated.
