Hello everyone,
I've been programming in Classic ASP for about 12 years and everything works fine, I can write it in my sleep. I have been trying to make the move to .NET as Microsoft has said so!!! It's not that easy, on top of my work load the learning experience is full on!!!
I have created a bunch of stuff in .NET using VB, the C# thing is a nightmare although I have programmed in C and C++, amongst other languages in my time so can go there also.
So I found the ASP.NET site, very cool site with lots of great recourses including video tutorials that are amazing and the starter kits.
I have most of the starter kits working on my stand alone PC on IIS 5.somethng but there is no way I can get them to work remotely at Godaddy or any of the other hosts I'm involved with, none of them! I have contacted the hosts and they won't help, they say they don't like third party software.
