Hi folks, running a .net 2.0 application. When I run this program locally out of visual studio 2005 there doesn't seem to be any problems. However when I deploy the application to an IIS 6 server we have, sometimes the code behind the page does execute, and I don't know why. I can see the request in the IIS access log, but the code in the aspx page (Page_Load(), XXXXButton_Click event, etc) simply doesn't execute. I just get what appears to be a cached page (even the results of a form POST seems to get cached). It does not appear to be browser caching as I can empty the browser cache and still see this behavior.
I have used every possible caching option that I can think of to no avail. <%@ OutputCache Location="None" VaryByParam="None" %>, pragma no-cache headers, "Web site content should expire immediately" setting (under HTTP Headers tab for the application in IIS control panel), but none of them seem to have any effect. ...
