When I create a new web application and view it in the browser using VS I see the normal default page with no errors or problems. But when I do this out of VS and try to open the pages with IE (or other browsers) I get lots of different errors related to loading pages or master pages and etc.
With IE the page is being load but it cannot use master pages related to that page and I see a very basic view of the page with no themes or styles applied to it.
With other browsers I totally get “parsing error s” telling me problems with page directives.
This is my page directives:
<%@ Page Title="Home Page" Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Site.master" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="Default.aspx.cs" Inherits="WebApplication2._Default" %>
...
