I am planning on setting up a personal site using ASP.NET. The host I chose only supports .NET 2.0.
So here are some of my "beginner" questions:
1.
On my laptop, I need to install .NET 2.0 framework, Visual Web
Developer, SQL server? Since I am using the 2.0 version, does the web
developer 2008 and sql server 2008 work well with this version?or
should I use the older versions?
2. How about on the server? I know that the server should
already have the framework and doesn't need the IDE, but how about the
database? Do I need to put the SQL server on my hosting server? If I
do, how do I do it?
K. I need to stop here and hope you guys can
help me with those questions first. Thanks in advance! Your feedback is
