My understanding is that whenever you visit a site with https secured protocol, the browser downloads the certificate to the users computer. If the certificate is wrong, the user will receive an error in his browser. Either you can proceed with that error or add a rule to skip that error.
1. How does the site work when you visit the page again? Does the browser download the certificate again to the users computer or it uses whatever on the users computer?
2. Like cookies, Can the user remove these certificates from their computer? If the user visits 100 websites having https, doesn't these certificates clog his computer?
3. I have seen browsers giving error though you add a rule saying you don't want to check the certificate again. Is it because each url is considered as a seperate entity rather than the certificate for the whole domain and apply to all urls?
 Apprecaite the feedback.
