I am new to Web design and am viewing whether a concept will work
I am using Expression Web4
I have a asp page that looks up fields in a database
It has three dropdown lists that filter data,
The first being the companyName
Then Locations, Level 0 and Level 1
I then write a value i.e. numberofcases from another textbox and the result of the last dropdownlist into the database.
What I wanted to do was check to see if the last dropdownlist in not selected or does not contain data then use the value of the dropdownlist2
I have tried several ways but am unable to write the value
