I have some dynamically created dropdownlists on my page that I need to be able to recreate and/or delete as needed. The recreation is fine, I think. I store the ids of the ddls in viewstate, and recreate them on Page_Load (wanted to do it earlier, but have to wait until viewstate is accessible) with the same id.
The problem is when I try to delete one of my controls. I cannot find them with findcontrol, but it WILL fail if I "delete it" (cannot find it) and then recreate it. If I *then* use findcontrol, the application folds saying findcontrol found more than one...
Anyone? If needed, I can post my code, but I'd rather not show how bad my coding is :p
