I have two web apps pointed at the same DB for membership.
In the web.config I've added the machine key (I used "AutoGenerate, IsolateApps" for the validation & decryption).
I've also added the application names to both web configs in their respective Membership, Profile, and RoleManager elements.
I have two users named "admin"...each one is associated with a different application. I can log-in to one of the apps with the admin account associated with it no problem.
The second admin account won't log into it's associated web app...can't figure out why.
I know the problem is with Membership.ValidateUser...just not sure why.
I stuck sql profiler on it & found it's running the stored procedure "aspnet_Membership_GetPasswordWithFormat"
Which I found was interesting because it doesn't look like it even passes the users password..
Anyway, the profiler is showing all the right data...application name & username but t ...
