Here's the problem...
I have made a module to do custom authentication / authorization.
When the user clicks the login button the module runs and checks if the user is authenticated (has cookie and stuff) and in the authorization event i check if the user is authenticated and depending on the roles i want to REDIRECT (!) him to another page on my web application. But what happens is that i get an endless loop!.. Because when a redirect is made a new request is made hence the authorization will run again , makes the redirect , and so on and son till the loop.
My problem is: where to do the redirect??? If the user is authorized i want to redirect him to the correct page.
I can do the redirect that i want only on the Page_Unload of my Login code-behind.....and i dont understand why there isnt a loop there too!!...
Help !
