I like to request for your suggestion/help to get below out lined requirement.
1) Retrieve search criteria (controls with search Text)
Using two <asp:panels> on the same ASP.NET form.
<Asp:Panel 1: Search> consists of various controls(TextBoxes, DropDownLists),allowing the user to enter search criteria. when user hits Search button, Search results are shown in GridView on Panel 2. As you can guess i m setting panel visible property depending on the event. All works fine.on panel 2 (where Search results are shown), i have a Retrieve search criteria button. When the user clicks this button it is required to show the search form(search panel) with all the controls and assocated search criteria Text (the search criteria and Text).
I am aware that it is to do with state management. But i m not sure on which way go.
2) Retrieve search resutls GridView ...
