I am really hoping someone can help me out with this.
I have a Gridview with some drop down filters that can narrow the data in the grid view. What I am trying to do is after the some filters are chosen I want to pass that data (by pressing a reports button) then retrieve the data with Microsoft Reports Viewer. My code is in C# and I am using a master page and content panes.The gridview and filters work the way they were intended, The report view pulls data from a SQLdatasource and populates the report but I would like the filtered version. I would ideally like the Reportviewer to retieve its data from a session.
I think I should be using a session variable to do this, but I am a newbie to this and Reportview am almost lost it it wasn't for the wizard, I am not sure how to accomplish this. If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I have attached some of the code that I am using.
