I have been developing a web app for some time and now I am experiencing a strange behavior. When I test the project (run it in my PC) from within VS2008 it takes much time to load the pages (about 25 seconds each) and yesterday I got the following error message:
System.Net.Socket.SocketException: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
Recall that I am running the web app in my PC (localhost) and that it was working fine some days ago, then it started to run fine sometimes and finally now its behavior is always bad.
I do not have firewalls, proxys, etc. installed.
