dropdownlist updated based on datasource and value from another dropdownlist - want to add wildcard at top

Hi,

my code uses two dropdownlists - After value is changing in dropdownlist A, the values in dropdownlist B are updated according to the value selected.

It works fine till here.

I want to add a default permanent value on top of the values in dropdownlist B - at all times - before it is updated and afterwards as well.

The problem is that it does add the default value on top but then doesnt update values as per selected value in dropdownlist A

 Please help!
