Passing Hierarchial Data_Experiences

Hi,

We have a situation where in we need to display a tree in a UI which is hierarchial in nature..

eg:

Organization

� � � � �  SubOrganization

� � � � � � � � � � � � � �  Orders

� � � � �  Orders

� 

� 

"Orders" can be for Organizations or SubOrganizations..

� 

Required data is stored in a DB in different tables.

we have three tiers UI, MIddle layer(WCF communication interface) and DB.

� 

different options I can think� of as of now� are� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � 

- Passing XML from DB -> middle layer-> UI

- flat xml from DB-> format xml in hierarchial format in middle tier-> UI

- XML from DB-> convert to objects(contracts) ...
