Reading the cookie generated by with javascript

Hi,

I'm using a authentifications with forms with cookies. I need to know client side (javascript, not ajax) if the cookie of autehntifications exists. If  I using document.cookie in javascript, the cokie of authentifications is not there. But I checked the cookie file and my cookie is writen there. Is not a domain problem, I allredy checked this.
